Stolen Pieces II has some serious slaughtering going on!
I did a review not long ago of Stolen Pieces, which turned out to be Book 1. That was my first read by Author J.R. Mason and I really enjoyed that book. It was a thrilling ride through a story about a serial killer and the detective trying to catch them. It left me wanting to dive immediately into Book 2 and that's when the REAL fun begins. Book 2 has some serious slaughtering going on but not only that, J.R. kicked up the heat in here to about 94 degrees and then layered on the twists and turns and surprises at every angle.
You won't easily forget any of these characters because they're so multi-layered that they get deep inside your bones and not always in a good way! As a writer, J.R. is among the best I've read in this genre and this series delivers on all of the things that make a true bestseller: from the kills to the erotic thrills, it will have you clutching imaginary pearls all the way through! Now waiting patiently for Book 3 but kinda scared too...

The way this killer is so cunning and conniving is a bit unnerving. the though of someone getting away with this. I was in the edge of my seat the entire time I listened to this.

The hits just keep coming... no pun intended...
A continuation of book #1 (make sure you read it first!) and J.R.'s style and storytelling does not disappoint.
She has a great attention to detail as she weaves a plot that continues to leave you guessing as the story progresses.
I always felt engaged as I was listening and was honestly disappointed when the book ended because I was not ready to need to wait for book 3!

The narration & story telling are superb
I listened to the audiobook, narrated by the author. Excellent! The story telling and the sound effects drew me in. I didn’t want to see the MC win since I knew her secrets, but that didn’t stop me from devouring this book. I was left on the edge of my seat wondering who would be unalived next, or if the culprit would be found out. This is a must-read for hard boiled mystery lovers.

J.R Mason did it again
Stolen Pieces II takes the suspenseful crime thriller of the first audiobook to another level.
I found myself on the edge of my seat as I embarked on this emotional rollercoaster.
Some characters I loved, especially the female MC, and some I was happy to see go .. 😂
Author and narrator J.R Mason once again delivers a flawless performance, masterfully bringing each character to life with vocal portrayals that kept me thoroughly immersed and entertained.

Action....Suspense... Drama
I enjoyed reading part 2. It was filled with intensity, some scary moments, heartfelt scenes, and moments that made you wonder who was committing the crimes. If you like crime drama that offers thrilling moments, significant character development, and delightful plot twists, this is the book for you!
