Story
Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn't know that. He can't even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it. All he knows is that he's been asleep for a very, very long time. And he's just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

Story
Jazz Bashara is a criminal. Well, sort of. Life on Artemis, the first and only city on the moon, is tough if you're not a rich tourist or an eccentric billionaire. So smuggling in the occasional harmless bit of contraband barely counts, right? Not when you've got debts to pay and your job as a porter barely covers the rent. Everything changes when Jazz sees the chance to commit the perfect crime, with a reward too lucrative to turn down.

Story
In the not-too-distant future, a 21-member crew launches from Earth. Their mission: to establish a temporary colony on Mars. Little do they know that colony will become permanent–and the last stand of the human race. Because, without warning, every single person left on Earth simply...vanishes. Now, a thousand years later, the resources needed to sustain life are running out, and the very existence of the Mars colony is threatened. Humankind has only one option–to return to its home planet.

Got Me Day Dreaming of Gargoyles
I enjoyed The Stone Guardian story immensely. I can see the story growing and becoming one of my favorites. It's imaginative and different from other books out in the paranormal romance genre. I never thought of day dreaming of sexy gargoyles but this book had me doing it. The Narrator is new (you can tell ) and speaks a little slowly, but it doesn't detract from the story. Over all this audiobook is good a solid 8.9 out of 10.

To bad for Narration
Would you try another book from Paulina Woods and/or The Grey Knight?
Grey Night in a documentary or non fiction as he has a clear precise voice but lacks emotions and pitch changes for fiction
What didn’t you like about The Grey Knight’s performance?
He was drone like, like he was reading in a tin can and lacked emotion, he did not "feel" the characters therefore his reading was not believable and did not capture
Any additional comments?
It is unfortunate that the narration sounds like a documentary, and did not allow me to really get into the story as it is a pretty good story in itself. I would read the paper version but the audiobook version is dry, without emotions and well drone like. The narrator might be excellent for non fiction reading but needs to listen to some good fiction books to develop himself. I also think this would be better suited for a females voice vs male.
Having said that, the story and writing itself is pretty interesting and I will see if I can find a copy on paperback to enjoy it.

highly recommend
I love this book. Paulina pulls you into a magical would where you truly believe witches, gargoyles, vamps and shifters are real.
I did struggle a little with the narration. the sentences were a little choppy. His voice however gets 5+ stars!
I highly recommend and anxiously await the next book!!

Great story!
It's no secret that I love paranormal romance. The steamier, the better. This story is loaded with all of the things I like best: Witches, gargoyles, curses, love mates, and STEAMING hot sex! The narrator did great with most of the characters, adding effects and things, but I didn't like his young, female voice. I won this audiobook in a Facebook contest, and this is my honest review

Different than what I was expecting
Let me start by saying I do not normally read fantasy.... I wasn't sure how I would respond to gargoyles, but I found myself connecting with with the characters. I loved the description of how everything came to be and in the end I wanted the story to just keep going. I can't wait to continue this story with book two. I feel like I have so much more to learn!
