Realistic and Empowering
One thing I love this book is that it's not the preachy type, it's like getting advice from someone who's been there and conquered it. The real-life stories made it feel so relatable, the suggestions are easy to understand. Also, the narrator's tone is reassuring. Highly recommend it!

A must read if you are in a relationship
Whether you are in a new relationship or have been married for a while, you need to read this book, if you happen to be the jealous type or feel insecure. Any relationship is hard, let alone if you start to question your partner, develop feelings of jealousy, resentment or negativity, and depending on your personality, these feelings can turn into real problems, in your relationship. This book gives a solid understanding of the root cause of jealousy and insecurity to recognize the power of effective communication, if you want to continue forward with your partner. I learned the impact of overthinking can have an how to re-wire your mind to override that and ultimately how to build a healthy and rewarding relationship. This is a great read and I strongly recommend it for anyone. Even if you are not in a relationship now, trust me, read this book so you can be prepared.

What attachment styles are you exhibiting?
Fearful avoidant, avoidant dismissive…. Where do I start?! When it comes to relationships, one must ask themselves: What attachment styles am I exhibiting? This will be like seeing the puzzle pieces come together before you’ve even opened the puzzle box. And that’s what Archer Miles does so excellently: Aligns the missing pieces of your relationship difficulties so that you can take charge of this rollercoaster that is love! Big takeaway from this book: Once you heal traumas, programs, and unconscious behaviors within yourself, you will see your partner more clearly, and, therefore, will not feel the need to constantly second guess them, question their actions, or create accusatory mistrust where it is not appropriate. However, on the inverse, reading your partner better (by healing yourself) will allow you to see when something is not quite right, whether dating, or in a long term relationship. ‘Stop overthinking your relationships’ comes fully equip with tools and practices to handle toxicity, mistrust, jealousy, and a ton more. And guess what? RELATIONSHIPS ARE SUPPOSED TO BE FUN AND SUPPORTIVE!! So start enjoying and stop sabotaging! This is a great place to start <3

Get what you need in your relationship
I think we all have things within a relationship that we tend to not share because we do not want to upset our partner but in reality, this actually can cause more problems as eventually we build resentment. I would say that I struggle with some insecurities as my husband is very outgoing and is quick to make female friends. I work from home and not a girly girl. I like to hang in my sweats and be super productive in the home. I'm not one to go out much. But I don't express these insecurities to him as I don't see it as his fault that I feel this way. As I listened to this book though, I realize I am harboring these feelings and they are slowly bleeding their way in to our relationship and it's not fair that I make the decision for him of how he may react to how I am feeling. I need to allow him the opportunity to hear and respond. I think in order to have a successful relationship, if you are not willing to tell your partner your deepest fears, then you can't ever have a truly secured relationship. You are with this person because they love you so allow them to love all of you. This book has given me the courage to be able to speak more openly with my husband and it has sparked conversations between us that has been amazing. I feel better and he has put my mind at ease that he loves me for me. And being the homebody that I am, he loves that about me because he says it's a great balance to help keep him grounded as well.
If you are someone who silently lives on pins and needles, this is a great book to help get you moving in the right direction to start talking to your partner about your concerns.

Very much needed ... great piece of work.
When I listened through the list of "signs that you're overthinking your relationship" ... my jaw was on the ground. They got me. And I probably need the things Miles is going to mention in this audiobook.
The strategies were simple and to the point. Effective. Powerful. These are all things I could have used growing up, as a chronic over-thinkiner!
Great anecdotes too.
Great deep dives in the middle chapters on parts of overthinking. I think my favorite section was the affirmations. It's just really grounding to listen to. Overall, a recommended listen if the title feels relevant to you.
