Good story horrible narrator

A wonderful collection. stories could be hit or miss as in any collection of this kind but generally pretty good. narrator was highly unpleasant, with distracting, affected, and hissing delivery. hard to listen to her for more than 15 minutes and annoyance with her voice distracted from the stories.

Classic tales told oddly

Narrator was so weird and distracting I finally gave up. Don't bother, unless there is a different narrator out there somewhere.

Great story collection spoiled by poor narration

I was excited to get this collection of gothic stories, but the affected speaking style of Cathy Dobson quickly tamped down my enthusiasm—she sounds almost digital, as if Alexa were reading!

Horrible Narration!!

I’ll never buy another book that she narrates again! Just awful despite how interesting the story may sound!
