The first book in a coming of age super hero book full of plot twists that you will not see coming. An excellently written book about a teenager, Tommy, who is gifted but does not know what his gift may be as society has all gifted powers locked down. But when events unfold that thrust Tommy into events that he never could have foreseen, he must not only learn what his power is but learn to control it. This first book concludes the story arc nicely but will have you buying the next book to continue the story so be prepared to spend the next credit (and the one after that).

Teenagers have enough problems without being alienated because you have been gifted with powers. Join Tommy and his friends as they struggle to find some normalcy, try to survive among the Reclaimers, and, by the way, save his dad.
Bill Burrows does a great job reading, drawing you into the story, and giving the characters appropriate personalities. You will love listening to it.
This book is one of my favorite books and I can’t wait to read more from Patrick Dugan!

really bad book super slow and depressing for the vast majority the protagonist is stupid.

the book has a love interest that is all most a rap victim which make her a tremendously dull person for most of the book.



SPOILER ALERT
if he did not kill windy for a close to the book it was looking like a 2-3 star but I totally hate excessively sad ending just to prove that the protagonist is fucking retarded.

PS singularly worst hero story for 2018 I'm going to get my credit back
