A unique summer job lands 18-year-old Eden Saxon into a lifestyle completely different than her own. She becomes a companion for 19-year-old Finley King, the daughter of a rock legend. Finley suffers from severe anxiety, and her father fears her being alone. Eden leaves her loving, but wildly dysfunctional, parents and dreary apartment and enters a world where no luxury is overlooked. She instantly adores Finley and her charming, quirky personality. The whole situation has only one flaw - Finley's older brother, Jude. Jude King is cocky, arrogant and irritating. Unfortunately, he's also completely irresistible. Eden realizes she's underestimated the depth of Finley's problems, and suddenly her dream job turns out to be a lot more than she'd expected. Eden soon finds herself in over her head...and her heart.

Strangely Normal grabs every emotion you have. I could relate to Finley's emotional feelings suffering from anxiety and depression. This story is an excellent read showing some understanding of anxiety and depression while keeping the story interesting. Eden helps Finley being her companion to help her socially. Eden and Jude, Finley's brother are extremely attracted to each other. I love Eden and Jude and all the other characters and let's not forget some pig.
I love Tess Oliver books and highly recommend her books.
Dara Rosenberg does an awesome job at narrated Strangely Normal.

What made the experience of listening to Strangely Normal the most enjoyable?
I really enjoyed listening to this because I had read the book and it was nice to hear how it sounded by listening to it also. The Narrator Dara Rosenberg is an awesome Narrator! What other book might you compare Strangely Normal to and why?
This book in a way can be read before listening to the Custom Culture Series as two of the characters in the Custom Culture Series we get to meet in this book. It forms a nice introduction to some of the characters we will meet in later books.Have you listened to any of Dara Rosenberg’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Yes I have read 3 of the Custom Culture Series by Tess Oliver, and she does such a good job with all of them!Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
This book made me laugh in some places especially reading about the sibling rivalry between the two brothers and their sister, but also sad in other parts as Finley is afraid to go outside and she is extremely depressed during part of this book, and her brothers try to do what they can, so it is very emotional at parts.Any additional comments?
I really enjoyed this book, and I recommend that if you are going to read the Custom Culture series, you should read this book first as these characters will show up in the series!Strangely Normal An Awesome Read
