book's duration was short.
The instructions in developing a straw bale garden were vague or missing. if you are looking for a general feel good book about straw bale gardening, this is it. if you are looking for a how to book for straw bale gardening, look somewhere else.
on a mote positive note, the telling of the book was done well.

Don't do it
Don't do it. Just turn around and walk away. Don't make the mistakes I've made.
This could well be an 8th grade research project. It is self-contradicting (sometimes all in once sentence), poorly researched (for a professional audiobook release; it's a sold "B" for an 8th grade report) and often not actually in-line with a lot of current thinking on the subject.
I have a straw bale garden, and was hoping to pick up a few tips. My sum total knowledge on the subject comes from reading about 1/3 of Joel Karsten's book, and even with that extremely limited frame of reference I could have written this book, for all the knowledge it contains.
