About this listen

 This is the last of four volumes of my essay writing over the past fifteen years. Some essays have aged better than others. But rather than modifying those that have aged less well, I am including comments, which will appear in footnotes, reflecting my current thinking on the matters under discussion. This volume focuses on my personal encounter with the rising cultural authoritarianism of the Canadian left and its shifting views of class and gender.
