About this listen
Something is stalking the citizens of Wichita, Kansas, in the dead of night. Random missing people, homicides presumed to be carried out by deranged family members, and the drastic decline in the homeless population were first thought to be non-related occurrences. But after an unpopular rookie cop is given a dead end assignment, the pieces of this bizarre puzzle start to come together.

What did you like best about Subprimeval? What did you like least?
The beginning is good. Engaging characters, a mystery beast, I was initially impressed. Then suddenly the story switches to new characters, a different focus and then again jumps to another story. The loosely related parts (called episodes here for some reason) make the book more a collection of unfinished short stories than a novel. I really wished he would have just stuck with one story. And I'm not sure why there's more than one narrator. It just made the frequent jumps more glaring.Frustrating Jumble of Episodes
