About this listen
The program for the Summer Music Concert for the month of July 18th, at 5:30 pm in 2025 at St. Christopher's Episcopal Church in Killeen, Texas. The concert will be focused on sharing the love of God through the music of Gary Revel and Kelley McRae.
Get ready to be inspired and uplifted as Gary Revel and Kelley McRae join with you in worship and praise of God at this summer concert in Killeen, Texas.
Kelley McRae grew up in Mississippi but called Brooklyn, New York home for years before teaming up with guitarist Matt Castelein in 2011. The duo traded in their NYC apartment for a VW camper van and hit they have toured coast to coast in the US, played to packed rooms across Europe, sold-out the Bluebird Café in Nashville, and built a dedicated following on the strength of their live performances.
Drawing comparisons Emmylou Harris and Gillian Welch, the duo’s music is wide ranging – comprising haunting ballads, tender love songs, and energetic guitar driven songs. Paste Magazine’s 4 Star review raves “Kelley moves effortlessly from mournful tones to a celebratory swing, from songs of loss and decay to hymns of love and grace.” Acclaimed film director Wim Wenders says Kelley’s songs move him to tears, and BBC Radio’s Bob Harris calls the songs ‘brilliant.’ Kelley’s music has been featured in Lifetime’s Army Wives, MTV, commercials for American Airlines and Unicef, and numerous independent films.
Gary’s musical journey began at just 15 when he formed his first Rock & Roll band. Since then, his path has taken him through the heart of the music world—Hollywood, New York City, Memphis, and Nashville—where he wrote, produced, and recorded across a variety of genres.
Now, Gary brings his incredible talent and decades of experience in the entertainment industry to Killeen, Texas for a summer celebration like no other.
This special concert is more than just music—it’s a free community gathering filled with joy, fellowship, and the powerful message of God’s love.
Kelley and Gary are joined by Tim Holmes on drums, Steve Coffino on guitar, George Honaker doing background vocals, and Scott Clark on trombone. There will be other special guests as well, most important is the Holy Spirit.
This will be a time to remember—where music moves the soul in a time of praise and worship of God Almighty and new friends and community will create bonds of continuing fellowship for all attending.
