What did you like best about Sunrise with Seamonsters,Pt.1? What did you like least?

There was one chapter about situations in Africa that was written so clearly, I thought I was back there reliving it but most chapters assumed the reader knew more than, at least, I did and therefore, could not hold my interest.

What could Paul Theroux have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

Set the stage better for each chapter

Did the narration match the pace of the story?

The narrator didn't have a great deal of substance to use voice inflections and it was mostly reading the yellow pages.

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

It couldn't be... no plot

Any additional comments?

Kingdom By The Sea is wonderfully written and narrated. P.T., in other books,. should not assume his audience knows more than they do. More like this!

disappointing considering it was Paul Theroux!
