About this listen

 Collected for your entertainment (and mine), you'll find several (almost) poems about various aspects of my nerdy upbringing that I use as springboards into thoughts about the nature of being an adult, a parent, a functioning member of society. If you love pop culture, this might be your jam. If you grew up in the 80s and 90s, this will make sense. The word "poetry" is taken lightly here. Everything reads like very tiny narratives. The good news is that you'll understand it better. Plus I never say "thy" or "thine" or "thou" once in the whole thing. Oh, and none of it rhymes, unless by total happenstance and accident. This book is for those who know the Transformers and Battle of the Planets and Michael Morbius and Rubik's Cube and Gauntlet and all those crazy references.
