About this listen
Images flood through your mind, but you have no idea what is real and what is imaginary -- without a reference, without your senses, all things are imaginary, and all are flooding through your mind.
Can you ask the primary question?
We are accustomed to hearing debates about pantheons and the children of God they are derived from, but when have you ever heard about existence from the viewpoint of the Creator?
Imagine, if you can, that there was nothing but your mind and an intelligent consciousness that had no outside reference points, no known parent, or basis for existence. Isn't that how Western Religions depict, by innuendo, "God the Father" of their pantheon?
There are those who reject all "Gods" because they reject the "fear-based politics" that has become the driving force behind the Roman-based Western Religion known as Christianity. To unify its subjugated peoples behind a common form of "fear-based politics," Constantine, a man who usurped the power of the collapsing Roman Empire, gave authority to an enduring Hebrew cult and made it the religious basis for his "fear-based politics."
The ALPHA QUESTION trivializes the debate over imaginary gods and focuses on the idea underlying the intellectual basis for the emergence of human religion -- where do we come from and what forces are controlling the universe in which we exist.
This book is for those Chosen People who have the basic intelligence to imagine the awakening without any knowledge of a body, or reason to be. They do not feel hunger or anything associated with the multitude of senses which allow us to navigate our environment -- in this imagined scenario, they have no environment to navigate. All they have is the various elements of their intellect – elements that might seem to take on a life and personality of their own.
In addition, because they have no environment, there is no sense of time as we are accustomed to viewing it. They have the thoughts they had, which they can have again, and the thoughts derived from those thoughts, or the reconsideration of those thoughts.
As an entity without external reference, they have no sleep cycle – at least not one that they are, or could be, aware of.
This is our story and only the Chosen will understand. And their understanding is derived from the fact that the ALPHA QUESTION is the one they have sought an answer to throughout much of their lives.
What is the Alpha Question?
Isn't it obvious?
It is the question that drives Archaeology, the physical sciences, and philosophical thought. It is the desire to know where we came from, and why we exist. It is the question avoided by the various branches of the dominant Western Religion, and in Eastern faiths is the driving force behind the concept of Karma and the need to live in conjunction with the energy that defines our environment.
