About this listen

The purpose of this book is to “test the spirits” as God instructs in 1 John 4:1. The verse warns us that there are false prophets in the world. The idea is that just because someone uses words in the Bible does not prove they are preaching the “Word” of God. All of us have heard of Preachers who wrongly use the Bible to their advantage. So, if a being suddenly appears before you and says He is “God,” how can you know it is true? Because He is beautiful, maybe? The Bible tells us that Lucifer is a beautiful angel. If he were to appear to you right now, you would not be able to know it was Satan immediately! You might say, “I would know it was God because I would feel peace in my heart.” The Bible tells us that our “hearts” are wicked and can deceive us. To know that the being before us is truly God will take more than wishful thinking, pretty sights, and warm feelings in our bellies. We will need to know enough Scripture to compare what the being was communicating to us to see if there were any discrepancies. If it were not God, we would find that something being expressed would not fit with Scripture. If it is God, then there would be no discrepancy at all. The only way to tell the difference, for real, is to know the Word.

Therefore, the validity of the Scriptures is of most importance. If we cannot trust the Word of God, then we cannot trust God. If we cannot trust God, we are in serious trouble. In this book, I will challenge things from the Bible with the goal in mind of clarifying its validity. Not just because it is the Bible but because what it teaches is true. The question here is what will be the evidence we will use to reach that determination. All belief is based on some evidence. The problem is that wrong evidence will produce false truth (lies). Factual evidence will prove the truth. Let’s start this journey by looking at the evidence and allowing it to lead us to the truth.´I hope you will join me.
