"It is the first time that I have written a presentation of my books in English, Gentle Reader. ROMAN TRILOGY is a mysterious book, even for me as an author, since the three short novels that make it up emerged at different times in my life and with different origins as well. THE MAGICIAN OF MESOPOTAMIA, the second one I wrote, but the first of the Trilogy emerged as a kind of epiphany at the end of the last millennium, while I was on sabbatical between the ancient Mayan lands and the charming city of Mérida, the capital of Yucatán, Mexico. Now, the translation from Spanish to English of the three novels was daring on my part; I wanted to experiment with the technology offered by Microsoft and with my very basic knowledge of the English language to correct the translation.
