After fourteen exceptionally long years, Mary Bentley, who was missing since the age of five has at last been found by her mum through what most would consider a profound miracle. Now a young woman, she must learn to reacquaint herself with the her biological family who are essentially strangers to her.

But what will happen to the relationship between Mary and the loving Irish couple who raised her as their own for all of those years? They live a simple life on a rural farm in Dixon, England, and forge through life with very few luxuries, but have given Mary a God-fearing home where she was taught to be humble and kind. Or does Mary decide to pursue a life in America where her wealthy parents own a large prosperous plantation with servants in southern Alabama? It is quite clear that they would be able to provide her with the finer things in life, but is this what nineteen-year-old Mary wants for her future? She has always been quite content living a simple life in England, and of course there is James to consider, the young man that she has recently fallen in love with. Mary is extremely torn but knows that a decision needs to be made as her birth family shall be soon returning to their home in America. To think of being separated from them again so soon is absolutely heartbreaking.

Continuing Story of the Bentley and King Families

Excellent continuing story of the Bentley and King families. I thoroughly enjoyed this continuing storyline and cannot wait to read the next in the series. The virtual voice narration was good also. Highly recommend.
