About this listen
Luc, a twenty-eight-year-old regular banker, is out on what is supposed to be a date at this resort in the suburbs with a lady he is only fortunate to meet. However, when she does not show up, it paves way for him to meet another who stumbles through the gate just as he is heading out. He rushes to her side and helps her to his car with the hope that she is Ria, his supposed date. She isn't. Instead, both of them land in a nearby hospital in an unprecedented sequence of events.
Any hopes of being done with the mysterious girl from the resort quickly get dashed. She turns out to harbor many secrets that only draw Luc further and further in. Ria eventually gets in touch after which Luc learns that she had lost her father, and the two try to pick up from where they had left.
Surprisingly, Ashley reappears, this time admitted in critical condition. Already trapped in the web of her conundrum, Luc hurries to her side and has to be there until she comes, to after which he tries to unravel her mystery. From living an otherwise uneventful life, everything changes for Luc when the two women wander into his life, turning his social life on its head.
Luc is caught in a dilemma. Should he reveal to Ria the story of Ashley or what exactly it was with her?

Story
Lana Fleming’s sister has vanished from the set of TV’s hottest show, and no one seems to care. Desperate for answers, Lana sneaks in as an extra, only to get stranded with Griffin Hart, an A-list action star with a reputation for good abs and bad decisions. Though Griffin didn’t expect to be cast as a librarian’s sidekick in a real-life thriller, he’s weirdly into it—and into her. Even more unsettling—she sees right through his playboy persona. But their meet-cute soon turns deadly when they uncover a Hollywood scandal for the ages.

Ryder, Garrett, Kenzo, and Diesel - The Vipers. Their deals are as sordid as their business, and their reputation is enough to bring a grown man to his knees, forcing him to beg for mercy. They are not people you mess with, yet my dad did. The old man ran up a debt with them and then sold me to cover his losses. Yes, sold me. They own me now. I’m theirs in every sense of the word. But I’ve never been meek and compliant.

Keeps you guessing
The problem with most romance books is that they can get very stale and predictable. I often find myself knowing where the story is leading chapters in advance. This was refreshingly different. The characters were well developed, but not in a way that allowed me to completely predict their actions. I was given just enough information to keep me guessing but not accurately predict. Very enjoyable book in the romance genre.

Table for Two story and narration review
Story was good, had some small parts that I wish were more thought out. Overall Id say around an 8 or close to 9/10 for the story.
Narration was well done. Good distinguishing between characters, and it was easy to listen to the narrators voice while I drove through Houston traffic.
9.5/10
Hope to see more!
