Two men. One woman. And a stolen boy longing for the family who loves him.
Peyton Harrison has a secret goal when she arrives in Claywater, Texas—getting back her son, kidnapped as a newborn. The last man she expects to meet is Gabe Harrison, the guy who seduced her and walked away. Her body might want to take up where they left off, but her heart remembers Gabe’s betrayal all too well...and this time, the risk is even greater.
Gabe and Sam always knew they’d share the love of their lives, in their hearts and in their bed. Except Gabe found the perfect woman at the worst possible time. He did the honorable thing and walked away, but now an adult Peyton is in their hometown, her beautiful eyes full of tragic secrets. Sam is knee-deep in a drug investigation threatening Claywater, and Peyton’s arrival is a dangerous distraction. He and Gabe have always stood together, but this time, will the woman they both want be the one that divides them?
One twin left when she needed him most. Now both want her heart, but giving in may cost more than they realize. Anticipating their enemy’s next move is the only way to keep their son safe, but what about their hearts?
Take Me is an M/F/M romance with an HEA for all three main characters.

So why only 4 our 5 stars? This books hit on some pet peeves for me. There is a bedroom scene were there is no foreplay, none, and while the story depicts how that situation would go down somewhat accurately, I physically cringed listening to hit. For the narrating portion, Connor only does Sam's voice and Jason does all other male voices. Jason Clarke is an amazing talent, but when their are a lot of male voices going on, it would have been nice to have Connor's voice break it up a little. I wish that had been divided up a little better. Same and Gabe might be identical twins, but their personalities are so different. Sometimes I found Gabe too overbearing, borderline toxic.

Psychic Twins: MFM + SUSPENSE + DUET = 🔥

This is narrated in duet by Jason Clarke, Stella Hunter and Connor Crais. I love that this is told in the third person.
Stella Hunter did such a fantastic job conveying Peyton’s stubborn, determined, and sensitive character. I could feel the pain, humiliation, grief, and happiness throughout her performance! Jason Clarke was phenomenal playing Gabe, a strong alpha ex -military, dark at times character. I enjoyed how he was able to make Gabe come alive where I was both feeling so sad for him but so angry at him. This character was complex. Jason also voiced all male side characters (except for Sam). That was no small feat! One character in particular was so twisted and sinister it chilled me to the bone. Connor played Sam who is both so strong but sensitive at the same time. When he was being the alpha type cop he exerted that cockiness and dominant tone. He also blew me away in one particular chapter that tugged at my heart strings so much. I think it was one of his best performances!
5 Star MFM Romance!

This audiobook was amazing! These narrators perfect for this amazing book. They took the story and ran with it. Stella, I freaking ❤ her in everything. So damn talented. Jason as both swoony Gabe and evil sadistic Brian. Good lord. And Connor? Well.. yeah. Prob my fav book he's done so far.
I loved every moment!!

The story revolves around Peyton trying to locate her son who was kidnapped as an infant. She finds out he's been living in a small town where coincidentally the biodad, Gabe, also lives. She discovers Gabe has an identical twin brother, Sam, and they have a family history of twins marrying the same woman. As the story evolved and Peyton discovered more things about who the kidnapper was, I was so glad that she kept Gabe and Sam in the loop and didn't try to do everything by herself. As they worked together to save Micah, she grew closer to Gabe and Sam and decided to be with both of them. I love a good ménage, but it was a little weird that the guys were twin bros. It didn't really overshadow the story for me though.
This was a really great story performed exceptionally well by Jason Clarke, Stella Hunter and Connor Crais. I'm a big fan of all three narrators and having them perform this story together in duet was an excellent treat for us fans!
Hot and Suspenseful!

The narration was complete perfection! Stella Hunter is a favorite and brought such real and raw emotion to Peyton. As a mom I felt so invested and my heart hurt for her. Connor Crais and Jason Clarke totally nailed Sam and Gabe. They had great brotherly chemistry and definitely brought the heat.
There was a perfect balance of angst, mystery, and steamy goodness with an HEA that brought me to tears of joy.

The superb casting is what’s draws me in because Jason, Conor and Stella are some of my favorite narrators and they are just soo good together. And they did in duet format too! That just elevated the story even more.#narratordriven
I love that even though Peyton is in her mid twenties her lived experience has given her the edge and hardness that she needs to face these two alpha males. It made the pairing more believable. I love the softer Sam who contrasts well with the jaded Gab. The buildup to the consummation of their relationship is a moment worth waiting for.
Overall I really enjoyed this audiobook and I plan to seek out the others in the Southern Night series once they are in audio.
