Publisher's summary

Cougar shifter Dr. Kate Parker is planning her annual camping vacation alone this year. She runs into trouble before she even starts her trip in the form of one wounded, hot cougar undercover cop - or so he says. He's not going along with just her tender loving care because he came into town as a cougar, and he needs her help to get him back to where he can take up the search to look for an arms dealer, who just happens to be a cougar too.

Leyton Hill slipped into the unlocked, darkened clinic, figuring his luck had just changed. Except he doesn't plan for the good doctor to be napping in her office. Taking him on her vacation wasn't in the plan, and taking her hostage, hadn't been either, but now she's stuck with him until he can get back to his mission and the chase at hand. It appears the roles have reversed and who's holding whom hostage now?

A Doctor"s vacation results in a mate!

Return to Yuma, Colorado where the residents aren't what they seem. The stories continues with the town's doctor who's going on vacation. Her life is forever changed when the supposed camping trip turns into a kidnapping, even before it starts. He's an undercover agent trying to clear his name as a murder suspect and he looks a lot like one of their own. Together they must brave the elements, bears and their attraction for each other to survive. Will he be able to clear his name? Can she forget the man who's stolen her heart? What happens when they can't forget about each other? Are they going to be able to tame each other?

A sexy, funny, passionate story with twists and turns that have you wondering if they can get out of the situations they're in. There is also a couple of surprises that you won't see coming. Terry Spear has written a very entertaining book that makes you fall in love with the people of Yuma, Colorado. She keeps me wondering if one of the deputies will ever be able to find his true love and that he's got a relative he knows nothing about. A nod to the military and a town of residents who look out for each other keep you coming back to learn more about them and learn that they're shifters. Which one will be Taming the Wild Cougar? I look forward to reading, listening to all of the rest of Terry Spear's Heart of the Cougar series or any other books or series she may have thought of or will think up in the future.

Don’t change narrators in a series. I like Lauren better.

Once you get used to characters voice you don’t want to go from female to male
