About this listen

America has been the target of many countries, some large and others small that only thought they were large. Target brings to the forefront a former scientist, Rocky Soto, who had been fired as director of the Research and Development Department of the CIA. He feels he was fired for the wrong reasons and wants revenge. He teams up with North Korea and the remains of ISIS in an attempt to carry out his goal of destruction of the people that fired him. Davin Pierce and Josh Randal with the help of their wives, Pierce’s children and the CIA, FBI and DHS are on the scene to stop the destruction of America. But can they stop a man that knows the inner workings of the CIA, is a genius in his own right and is borderline insane? Target takes us to new heights in what an insane genius will do to accomplish his goal. Preface In late April of the year 2031, developments in technology had changed how people looked at the world, interacted, and spent their resources. Social media had grown over the years. Things like small implants in each human to replace cell phones, 4D virtual glasses, 3D printers producing everything from thumb tacks to human body parts and contact lenses to watch television and much more had made a major impact on the world. Technology had reached an age that Hollywood once used to make into scary movies. With the genius minds of many engineers and with the use of superfast bio-technology, developers only needed to think of a project, and with the use of computer technology, they could produce it. Computers were able to do anything a human could do, only faster and with more precision. With the advancements in technology, crime and terrorism had not decreased; or for that matter, neither had it increased over the years. The advances had brought about better surveillance equipment to the point that many of the population felt that it was an invasion of privacy. The government, on the other hand, kept saying that without the surveillance of the world, crime and terrorism would increase and take over.
