Another great listen

Omg I could not put this down and the twists and turns and unexpected aspects. Tate and Fran are a great couple that has so much chemistry and the fact that they have to work together to fix the errors that were made by Fran. There was so much that kept me guessing and Jane Henry is becoming one of my go to authors and I need to read/listen to everything. The audio was even better then the book, Michael pierce brought the characters to life

The truth comes out!

These mountain men are all a woman could ask for. Alpha, protective, loving, but when they are angry, beware! Fran knows this, and she holds a secret that could destroy the clan and the family she has woven herself into. When Tate becomes aware of it, she isn't sure whether to come clean or lie! Tate has been attracted for Fran forever, and now he has decisions to make. Keep her safe or keep the clan safe! What should he do? Jane Henry has had this thread woven into the first two books of the series, always making me wonder the outcome, and now it all makes perfect sense! I love her suspense filled excitement with clashing clans/mafias as things come to a head. But what really stands out for me are the characters! Tate is fantastic. While I thought Mac was going to be my favorite, Tate, has overtaken the spot and filled it with that feeling of a protective, loving hug. Teddy bear on the inside(except when angry) he will do anything to keep his loved ones safe. Fran too comes to the forefront of heroine. Her conscience guides her and I love it. She is amazing. Add in a totally unpredictable surprise at the end, and I was a happy listener!

Michael Pierce continues his fabulous Scottish accent with this series. I love him, and his ability to switch between character. Whether male or female, we know exactly who is speaking, even if someone from a previous story. He is wonderful and a pleasure to listen to.

A Must Read!!!

Jane Henry is a master when it comes to writing Scottish Mafia danger, intrigue, and romance. Her males are strong alphas that would die while protecting their mates and family. I love her feisty, passionate, and loving females. Tate quickly steps in to care for Fran when she is hurt. Their attraction to each other is off of the charts. I can't help but cheer Fran on as she seeks a family!. Tate must find and punish the author of books that threaten the safety of the Cowan clan. This story is jam packed with action, rivalry, family loyalty, danger, unexpected twists, and sensual steamy love scenes. Michael Pierce does a phenomenal job with his male and female voices. He definitely portrays the emotions of these characters. I highly recommend this Audible book. I'm always excited for a new Jane Henry story. Her books immediately capture my attention and keep it to the end.

I love romance novels with decent accents and narration

I’ve bought this whole series despite the narrator. I know the Scottish speak fast that’s not my issue. He does well for Tate especially when he goes into his deeper voice. The female voice is too shaky and goofy. The story isn’t terrible but it wouldn’t hurt for a lot of these books go to the plus catalog. At least one or two of a series, then people would buy the rest if they like it.

HappyinIdaho

I have now read all 3 of the Mountain Men books. The first 2 had me hooked from the start. Tate did not. I had a horrible time with Fran. She’s almost whiny. The self-blaming and unnecessary secret keeping was boring and irritating. I stuck with it through the first 7 chapters only because I was busy and couldn’t stop to shut it off! Then, the story picked up. Fran stopped her whining. The story got interesting. By the end, the plot twists were fun. Fran was tolerable. Tate was yummy. Don’t expect the sex in this one that was in the others, it’s lacking for this couple.
