Publisher's summary

Decorated army officer Major Ed Dames tells the shocking true story of his time asoperations and training officer for the Defense Intelligence Agency's top-secret Psychic Intelligence Unit. Together with his PSI Spyteam, Dames used the practice of remote viewing to uncover accurate and verifiable military intelligence by going where no intel operatives on the ground could go -- into the very mind of the enemy.

After retiring from the military, he turned his paranormal detective skills to finding missing persons such as millionaire pilot Steve Fossett, whose plane vanished in Nevada, and a young Colorado girl named Christina White, who disappeared seemingly without a trace. He has even located one of the most legendary missing objects in history, the Ark of the Covenant.

In Tell Me What You See, cosmic Columbo Major Ed Dames takes you behind the scenes of some of his most mind-bending cases. He reveals true stories and fascinating secrets uncovered by the military's remote viewing teams--from intelligence on Soviet missile sites to the whereabouts of missing POWs in Vietnam to the location of the Ark of the Covenant.

Maj. Dames is the most popular guest on George Noory's exceedingly popular radio show Coast to Coast AM. For anyone fascinated by the intersection of the military and the mysterious, Tell Me What You See is an amazing and completely absorbing must-read.

Good but

Well, I will say I had to look at it again to make sure this wasn’t a novel. The unbelievable amount of small talk dialogue between this author and various remote viewers was simply too much to be remembered to later put on print. That puts a small red flag up for me because I don’t know what else was added to make the story smoother that isn’t actually factual. I will say I do believe in the cases that he mentioned and I do believe in a remote viewing and I have no doubt the stories themselves are true, but as I said the amount of small talk throughout this whole book leaves little question that at least that part of it was made up and unfortunately, I don’t know what else was.

Very intertesting and well done

I read this book after attending one of his events. Ed truly lives and breaths the subject. It is well worth the journey.

Unbelievably Fantastic!!

I was sad when the book ended! Thank you Major Ed Dames, for spreading the data, methodology, and fascinating experiences with RV. The mind and soul are truly capable portals. Excellent narration as well.

Good story, but in weird order

This book seems to be written like the movie pulp fiction, it seems like the Major would tell a story about one thing, then move to a time before that, before finishing the story at a later time... also there was one bad edit, where words were repeated... I was really looking for more of a how to book than a this is what I’ve done book, however I would still buy it again...

Interesting material, less interesting personality

Loved the material presented here. I was familiar with much of it already. Really, I have only 2 complaints: 1. The book did seem to jump around a bit so there were times I had a hard time following it, and 2. toward the half-way point, I started to see things in Maj Dames' personality that I found personally abrasive. I understand based on his description of his early life why those elements came out in his personality but it soured me a little on the book and made it hard to root for him when he was fighting for his career or goals.

This book grabbed me from the beginning

Major Dames is a great remote viewer, maybe the best. This is a great book, very interesting stories. I do fully believe in remote viewing, I have done it, not to his level but I am trying to attain it...I have also had two obe's which are really cool. This stuff is real, they need this to be taught. Open the human experience up, let us be the way we were intended to be!!!

Interesting but...

It doesn't seem like you get any actual information or proof, much less predictions about the future. It still seems a bit scifi, and surprising that if this is actually going on, that the government allows him to talk about it. I was really looking forward to this one, and disappointed that there wasn't much resolve.

Inspiring listen

This book reveals in plain language some facts surrounding the golden thread of time. Not everyone dares to play telephone with that thread but you can learn a perspective from those that do in this book. It’s was worth my time and I think you’ll feel the same.
