About this listen

Goldie and Godiva are twins who live in very different worlds. Goldie Silver, an aging flower child, runs the Silver Spoon Antique Shoppe in Juneau, Alaska. Rich, manipulative Godiva Olivia Dubois authors her syndicated advice column, "Ask G.O.D.", from her Beverly Hills mansion. When Goldie finally receives a lost shipment of antique Russian tea urns, she realizes they are not the ones she ordered. The samovars sell quickly, but murder and mayhem follow each of the new owners. One customer is murdered, and the others are attacked and their samovars stolen.

Goldie and Godiva cannot convince the police that the stolen samovars and murder are related and that the local drunk they arrested is innocent. In an effort to protect the last two buyers, the Silver sisters set out on a wild chase that leads them to Seattle and Los Angeles. As usual, their elderly mother and uncle, former vaudeville magicians, get into the act. This wacky family sets a clever trap that backfires, and a zany sequence of events unfolds.

i HAVE to learn to listen to the previews...the blaring narration has caused me to shut this off within five minutes every time i've tried to listen...occupational hazard with 'cute' mysteries but at the very least this narrator is an acquired taste, enough that i can't review the actual story!
