About this listen
Book One: A Class of Her Own: When Laura Chapman's husband of over 20 years passes away, she finds herself the sole provider for two teenage children; lonely, frightened, and determined to return to college to obtain a degree. Then she lands in the same history class with her daughter and finds herself offending the toughest professor on campus.
Professor Andrew Dougherty, still a bachelor at 47, has sworn off women. His heart was broken years earlier by a skittish fiancée. Just when Laura feels that she has no alternative but to drop out of school due to stress and finances, Andrew begins to realize that it is time for the battle to cease between them. He is beginning to discover that his feelings for Laura Chapman are not at all what he thought at first.
About the author: Janice Hanna Thompson is the author of over 80 books for the Christian market. A Class of Her Own and A Chorus of One were her first published romances, both appearing in print for the first time between 2001 and 2002. These days she writes comedic love stories, but still has a soft place in her heart for these earlier inspirational stories.

Unique and entertaining
Texas weddings book 1
A Class of her own
I wasn’t particularly delighted with the narrator, but I liked the book and laughed out loud a couple times! Their awkwardness was especially endearing!
Book 2
A Chorus of one
I enjoyed the audiobook version of this book! The narrator kept saying Eye-talian instead of Ee-talian or Eh-talian and she didn’t differentiate between the women characters very common well, but she did and outstanding job with sound effects like a voice on the phone, in a memory or behind a closed door!
The story was quite enjoyable and unique! I wish there would have been more information about the different operas and added more lyrics to the songs because I know very little about either, but maybe I’m the only one. Overall a good experience with this new to me author and narrator. I’ll definitely check out further books by both!

Will Book 3 Sweet Charity ever become an audiobook
This series is great so far. I want to listen to Kent's story but it's not on Audible I like the narration, especially the way she uses some kind of device when someone is talking from a phone.
