Great story with a great narrator!

Margaret and Bailey are having a regular day when they notice ... something ... in the sky. Suddenly, there are lots of giant, black, octopus things everywhere. Who are these aliens and what do they want?

This was a neat story about an alien "invasion" that turns the typical alien invasion story on its head. The character development for the main characters was well-done. I really liked the reason for the aliens' visit and could definitely picture this situation happening in real life.

Having previously read The Altruism Trial by Christopher Francis (another book I would recommend), I am coming to really like how Francis incorporates lessons for kids in the stories without being condescending about it. Even as an adult, I enjoy reading them and am looking forward to reading more books by him.

In addition to reading this book, I also had the opportunity to listen to the audiobook, narrated by: Mindy Escobar-Leanse. This is the first time I have listened to this narrator, who did a great job with the book. The emotion with which she read the book really pulled me into the story.
