Story
When Mac Marcy got it into his head to run his own cattle ranch, he spent five long years working for Ben Tanner at the Bar 7 to save up enough money to do just that. His dream finally realized, Mac stakes his claim on a deserted ranch in a nearby valley, and rides over to say hello to his new neighbors at the Flying K. Thing is, Mac finds more than he bargained for in the owner's pretty daughter, Sally Kenyon, who seems eager to help him get started with his own place. What Mac hadn't counted on, though, was the jealous foreman at the Flying K, Vin Ricker, who had plans of his own where Sally and the Flying K were concerned.

It was a name that caused the most hardened gunmen to break out in a cold sweat: Texas Ranger Chick Bowdrie. Pursuing the most wanted men in the Southwest, he knew all too well the dusty trails, the bitter cattle feuds, the desperate killers, and the quiet, weather-beaten towns that could explode into mayhem with the wrong word. He had sworn to carry out the law, but there were times when he had to apply justice with his fists and his guns.

Life on an Ohio farm couldn't hold young Bill Carey. He wanted the adventure he knew waited in the territories to the west. He'd drifted into the outlaw life and found himself shot up, a lawman on his trail, holed up on a small farm near the lair of Tabat Ryerson. Ryerson, the man who'd introduced him to cattle rustling and bank robbery, was a cold-blooded killer, the man who'd turned the sweet young woman who'd saved Carey's life into an unwilling accomplice.

Story
The modern audience hasn't had a chance to truly appreciate the unknowing dread that readers would have felt when reading Bram Stoker's original 1897 manuscript. Most modern productions employ campiness or sound effects to try to bring back that gothic tension, but we've tried something different. By returning to Stoker's original storytelling structure - a series of letters and journal entries voiced by Jonathan Harker, Dr. Van Helsing, and other characters - with an all-star cast of narrators, we've sought to recapture its originally intended horror and power.

Story
Narrator Dan Stevens ( Downton Abbey) presents an uncanny performance of Mary Shelley's timeless gothic novel, an epic battle between man and monster at its greatest literary pitch. In trying to create life, the young student Victor Frankenstein unleashes forces beyond his control, setting into motion a long and tragic chain of events that brings Victor to the very brink of madness. How he tries to destroy his creation, as it destroys everything Victor loves, is a powerful story of love, friendship, scientific hubris, and horror.

Different But Good
Pretty different from the original story, but still really good. The acting was some of the best I’ve heard on audible. They made Vance into a lucky tenderfoot, not an experienced guy in disguise, and they also made his almost nonexistent interactions with Claire one of the biggest parts. Although it wasn’t very accurate to the actual story this is one of my favorite dramatized L’Amour’s.

Love Louis L'Amour Stories
This is the first Dramatization I've enjoyed.
I've only listen to a couple of dramatizations, but both were over-dramatized, with sound effects drowning out the voices, at times.
"That Triggernometry Tenderfoot" was different than the average L'Amour story: cattle trails, rustlers, Indian fighting, etc., I just wish it had been longer to develop the story more. I wasn't ready to stop listening. :-) But one of the things about Louis L'Amour is his ability to say a lot in a few words, so you don't feel it was incomplete.
It was a good story, well narrated by an all-star cast....an hour+ well spent.

Great short story Western
Nice group dramatization of story, good character development. Liked how the male teacher handled himself and taught his students.
