I have enjoyed Sherlock Holmes since I was a child. Reading the stories, listening to audiobooks, and listening to dramatizations.

The acting is flat in The Speckled Band, and the background violin music is terribly distracting. I had to turn it off about 10 minutes into the first story.

I'm so disappointed because these are four of my favorite stories.

absolutely horrible performances ruin this attempt at doing the holmes stories in audio play format. everyone sounds like a first day acting class student. how could any director let this happen?
