About this listen

Know, oh beloved, that man was not created in jest or at random but marvelously made and for some great end. Although he is not from everlasting, yet he lives forever; and though his body is mean and earthly, yet his spirit is lofty and divine.

This translation doesn’t seem accurate. I have a feeling this wasn’t written by a Muslim or a scholar. Some terms used in this audiobook are from Christianity and are foreign in Islam. And there seems to be missing parts, and the writers own words mixed in the original writing. Its just been modified to the point it doesn’t even sound this is from a “Islamic” writer.
