About this listen
The Allendale Mystery
When Lady Martindale meets an untimely demise at the height of a weeklong country house party at Allendale House, the rumor mill kicks into overdrive, pointing accusing fingers at her estranged son, Josh Farland. But there's one sharp-witted ally in Josh's corner—his steadfast friend, Pauline Frobisher.
As the plot twists and turns, Pauline embarks on a mission to clear Josh's name, armed with nothing but her wit, charm, and a keen eye for clues. The Allendale Mystery is a short whodunit that's as charming as it is cunning—a tantalizing tale that will leave you guessing till the end, with just a dash of British humor to keep things positively smashing.

5.0 out of 5 stars A highly intelligent and fun game of Clue, April 16, 2015 By TFLReader
I just love a good mystery and author PB Kolleri has put together a great mystery series here with her "Rachel Markham Mystery Series". I love British characters and stories, and particularly ones that are fast-paced and keep me guessing until the end. This was one of those for sure. If you are an Agatha Christie fan or just love a good mystery, don't pass up this engaging series.

this book was a wonderful surprise. Lots of charming characters that you will fall in love with--whether they are good guys or bad. The setting is fabulous--you feel right at home in the beautiful homes and their gorgeous surroundings in England. This is a terrific page-turner that you won't be able to put down.

This book reads like a P.B.S. television mystery series. I am an Anglophile and enjoyed every page. I highly recommend it to lovers of all things British.
