Great Read

An Amish Widow’s Faith Boxed Set was a great read by Joseph Hersh. This set consists of; An Amish Widow’s Faith, Amish Temptation, Amish Anniversaries, Amish Rekindling, and An Amish Christmas Love. An Amish Widow's Faith was a great read by Joseph Hersh. Samantha Lapp has finally had love come to her life. But pretty quickly tragedy strikes, and she finds herself picking up the pieces of her broken life. Amish Temptation (Amish Widow's Faith #2) was a good read by Joseph Hersh. Samantha and Zeke try and take their courtship to the next level. There is a roadblock in their way unfortunately. Amish Anniversaries was a good read by Joseph Hersh. Zeke and Samantha find many more life surprises in this book as they try starting a family. Amish Rekindling (Amish Widow's Faith #4) was a good read by Joseph Hersh. Samantha and Zeke work on ways to rekindle their marriage. An Amish Christmas Love was a good read by Joseph Hersh. Gregory’s girlfriend breaks up with him right before Christmas and it crushes his spirit. After the holidays, he vows to never experience that again. He wants to find the love of his life before the next Christmas. I really enjoyed reading Gregory’s journey to love.

Ok

While the story idea itself was good it could have been a lot better if the being Amish was left out, but too many things in this series that does not fit the actual Amish life style. Too many characters brought in and then just dropped. We go to grief therapy, try to find a man there a new wife then just like that he’s no longer a character. I only finished listening to the books because I was afraid I might miss something but the same character through all the books just fixed things like the perspective of a man would fix them. Over all it’s a good idea for a book but could have been made much shorter and had a little more research done on the Amish to write it. Too much “English” in an Amish world.
