About this listen
Anthropes are regular people with a disease, one that makes them transform once each lunar cycle into animals. Wolves, dogs, horses, elephants, and more, each presents a threat to public safety. So the government requires them to report to containment facilities for each transformation.
Vincent and Lucas work school nights as emergency guardians, hunting down rogue Anthropes and bringing them in for containment.
Transformations happen like clockwork, large groups of Anthropes on different nights of the lunar cycle, all regulated by a singular top secret hormone. When a terrorist starts using it to transform dangerous Anthropes in public, Vincent and Lucas only bother with one question. How are they going to stop him?

Left me wanting more!
This was such a fun read! The author, “A Dead Man” has a unique sense of humor and a mysterious nature that keeps this reading experience exciting with each chapter. I listened to it while cleaning around my house every morning and found myself actually looking forward to my chores…
The story is just plain fun. It makes you think (What if the earth actually IS flat?), it makes you laugh (especially if your name happens to be Katie), and it keeps you wondering what’s going to happen with exciting twists that remind you that “everything you didn’t know was meant to be a surprise.” I can’t wait for the next one!

I loved this book!
I like the story over all. It really captures what it’s like to be a teenager and I liked the humor. It was very interesting and kept me on my toes. Loved it over all and I can’t wait for the next book to come out.
