About this listen

My legal name is Geraldyne Mae Dixon. My current employment status is Senior Retail Attendant at The Gas & Go in Dixonville, North Carolina. People think I'm crazy on account of my gift. When I'm drunk, I see dead people. When I'm sober, it's the numbers that do me in. This is my story.

Fantastic!

Jen Purcell writes an entertaining and engrossing story, full of strangely relatable characters. Brad Holbrook's delivery is absolutely on point and adds just the right flare to this tale. I found myself smiling, laughing, and even feeling a bit nostalgic for easier times, in a smaller town where everyone might know everyone else's business. Well done.
