I'm sorry but authors shouldn't read their own books. Or someone should have told her there's no need to pause after every word. it sounded like it would be a good book I couldn't finish. I even sped it up to 1.5x but the pauses and the slowness just made me unable to concentrate on what she was saying

Very informative. My issue only lied with the narration, it was difficult to continue listening because of the amount of mouth noises (smacking lips, saliva, etc).

this audiobook really is for the beginner learning about astrology. The author takes you through each zodiac sign and does explain the difference between your sun sign and ascendant then moves on to the 12 houses. Finally it is summed up with a description and lesson regarding the different planet groups. Cusps, trines, decanates, the midheaven, and other intermediate aspects of the astrological sciences are not discussed at all in this title. It IS a great starting point for the true beginner.

I read the reviews but wanted to give a chance to this beginners guide. Aside from needing a better sound engineer, this guide was difficult to digest. Maybe it was the cadence of the reader that made it seem like a yoga instruction listen rather than one for comprehension. I’m currently listening to Noel Eastwood and find him more engaging and easier to comprehend.
