What did you love best about The Beginner's Guide to Finding Your Perfect Job?

Rather than business and economic guidelines, this book focuses on the human and spiritual factor. Our personality, our passion, our family background should guide us to our job. In fact, we shouldn't be looking for the perfect job: we're it!

What did you like best about this story?

What I loved the most was the definition of abundance:

Which character – as performed by Rick Jarow – was your favorite?

God or Allah or Buddha or the Supreme Conscience, or anything that you consider greater than man is a key-character in this book.

What did you learn from The Beginner's Guide to Finding Your Perfect Job that you would use in your daily life?

Abundance is not something to achieve. It's already there for me to grasp. I am unique. There is a place that needs me, a place where I need to be: that's where the perfect job is. In fact, I

Any additional comments?

The only one thing that didn't work for me in this book was the autosuggestion and the motivational affirmations. I guess I'm too aware of that stuff for it to affect me. But this book is worth reading, it takes the desperation out of your job search. It makes you trust yourself.

I love this audiobook and Rick Jarow's approach to discovering your perfect vocation. This program is for those who would like support/coaching in listening to your own inner guidance about your right and perfect life path expression (aka career). If you are looking for an analytical, logical or scientific approach to finding a career this is not for you. This program is very "right brained". It will tap into creativity & possess questions while providing few or no answers. I love the he leaves it up to me to find or just choose my own answers. It is my life & my responsibility. If you are open to quieting yourself trusting your gut & intuition this is the PERFECT tool for you.

I was looking for concrete examples to help me find a compatible job. This book proposes visualization, affirmations, meditations, such as repeating, "the god in me sees the god in you", to help you to align your inner values with your outer goals "to move on to your vocational trajectory. Relax. Breathe in, breathe out. Feel your ability to receive all the things that you really want." (Quote, unquote).

I did not connect with it at all. I was looking for best ways to hunt for a job, directions to resources to determine your ideal job, etec. I got none of this from this book. I can't see how this book would help me find the perfect job. I'm not against meditation, this just wasn't what I was looking for.

Just not for me.

Don't bother. This talk has no real insights or tips that aren't in every single career site out there.
