About this listen
There are over 10,000 religions on the planet. Why do you believe the Bible?
Many believers will talk about their upbringing or the positive effects the scriptures have had on their lives. Some consider blind faith a sign of obedience – a noble badge of honor.
In other words, many Christians believe that the Bible is true but can’t necessarily explain why they believe it’s true.
Until now.
Understanding why you believe the Bible can supercharge your faith and your capacity to share the good news with others. Not to mention your ability to prepare your kids for skeptics, critics, and atheist college professors.
You never quite got the hang of it before?
Good, because you’ve probably never heard it explained like this before.
James Finke has spent the past 15 years managing $50-million-dollar insurance portfolios. He is an expert in assessing risk and hedging bets. He’ll explain why he’s gone “all-in” and wagered everything that the Bible is true.
Readers say this book is easy to understand and hard to put down. James will walk you through a business case for why we believe the Bible is the authoritative word of God.
- You’ll learn where to begin in a world of over 10,000 religions.
- You’ll learn an easy-to-remember acronym to prove the Bible is C.O.R.R.E.C.T.
- You’ll learn how to dispel weak objections like, “The Bible is unreliable because it’s been translated so many times…”
Friend- the stakes are much too high for blind faith. Jesus said to “love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.” Every believer should know basic Christian Apologetics.
Are you ready? It’s time you see “The Bible Uncomplicated.”

Why won’t God reveal his special will for my life already? Because he doesn’t intend to.... So says Kevin DeYoung in this punchy book about making decisions the godly way. Many of us are listening for the still small voice to tell us what’s next instead of listening to the clear voice in scripture telling us what’s now.

Story
Have you ever wondered if we're missing it? It's crazy, if you think about it. The God of the universe—the Creator of nitrogen and pine needles, galaxies and E-minor—loves us with a radical, unconditional, self-sacrificing love. And what is our typical response? We go to church, sing songs, and try not to cuss. Whether you've verbalized it yet or not, we all know something's wrong. Does something deep inside your heart long to break free from the status quo? Are you hungry for an authentic faith that addresses the problems of our world with tangible, even radical, solutions?

Story
From the author: My longtime barber was stunned and had tears in his eyes. “James, keep going. The entire shop is listening.” The chatter, laughing, and cracking of jokes that normally filled the packed barber shop was absent. Instead, the entire place was listening intently to the conversation he and I were having as he cut my hair. It was the Gospel – the good news about the person and work of Jesus Christ – explained exactly as it is in this book. I’d been in that barber chair countless times before and nothing like this had ever happened. That’s because it wasn’t something...

Good comparison
The AI narrator is uninteresting. This book would be a must listen if the writer was the narrator or at least had a narrator. The information is not convincing because of the AI narrator.
The narrating makes the books too boring to listen to.
