This is the story of my guide service's biggest Lake Texoma striper. It held first place place from March 2015 all he way to May 2023. My youngest son and his friend Hunter had the week off school, but no one else did in our area, so all week long it seemed like we had the lake to ourselves.

Two weeks after this amazing few days of fishing, the lake flooded to its maximum capacity. Washed in debris forced all the fish toward the dam, and then they had no choice but to open the spillways, causing all the lake's huge fish to wash out into the Red River.
