About this listen
The story has mystery, danger, a dead body, humor, a cute dog, best friends, several suspects, romance and a few twists. 5 STAR Amazon Review.
I just wanted some R&R at my B&B. How was I to know the town meanie would R.I.P. and I’d get the blame.
I only returned to this small town when my Aunt left me her beloved Bed and Breakfast where I was raised.
Right when I’m having my grand reopening, the town's most ruthless businessman takes a tumble down my creaky staircase.
We all gather around and see a silver hair from the librarian's wig on his suit. They were screaming at each other earlier as the whole town heard, literally.
And there’s a piece of yarn in his hand from his ex-girlfriend’s sweater. She’d give him a shove, for sure.
We’re all suspects at this party crime scene.
Now me and my pooch Watson must warm up the locals and loosen their lips for clues to find the killer.
But, as I get closer to the truth I receive threatening notes warning me to ‘stop or die’, and I swear I’m being followed. I need to unravel this mystery fast before my sweater knitting days are over for good.

Story
Instead of catering to cozy readers at my inherited bookshop, I found myself staring at the town’s crabbiest gardener… taking a dirt nap in my alleyway. I just turned a new page in my life when I returned to Bramble Dale to start a laid back book club. But when my old crush is pegged as a suspect for a murder it became a crime story that I needed to solve. When my trusty yellow lab, Peanut, sniffs out a bloodied scarf, me and my bestie start questioning suspects. With the victim rigging the gardening competition so he always won there were more than enough people that wanted to dig his ...

Great characters and story setting. Interesting Mystery to solve with lots of clues and twists that kept me guessing and turning the pages until the end. I can't wait for the next book. I highly recommend this book. 5 STAR BookSprout review. Welcome to Bramble Dale—where book club drama is just the warm-up, and murder is the main event. Picking the book of the month used to be my toughest challenge, but that was before a shady paralegal was booked into jail…and then found dead. Now, with an old friend knocked out during the crime and the clues pointing to corruption and conspiracy, ...

Story
A suspenseful yet delightful cozy mystery that I couldn't put down. The twist and turns kept me reading till the very end. ARC Team reviewer. I wanted to learn calligraphy at the local craft store. I didn't know the owner would kick the bucket after our first class. Her death is too suspicious. As I talk to the craft club who knows everyone that has ever come into the craft store I find out who would have wanted the victim inked out. Everyone saw her cat fight with the town's blabber mouth and her cousin's estranged husband and city councilman just happened to emerge just in time to call ...

They did it again. What an amazing mystery. The author definitely made this entertaining. The characters were a delight. 5 STAR review from BookSprout reviewer Who knew my dog had a nose for murder? One gala, one fall, and now we’re fetching clues faster than I can frost a cupcake. Oh, sweet sugar and spice. Just when my bakery catering business sees new heights at a light house gala, my ritzy employer plummets to her death from the tippy top. When the Sheriff refuses to believe she might have been murdered, I start nosing around with my Golden Retriever, Cinnamon, to find clues as to who...

Story
My love for baking has turned me into a small town murder suspect. All I did was deliver the best muffins the mayor’s ever had, or will ever have again. Life at Granny B’s Bakery couldn’t get any sweeter till I discover Bar Harbor’s Mayor face down in my basket of blueberry muffins, dead. Well, at least he died happy. Now the sheriff is pointing his finger at me calling my baked goods muffins of death. Me and my tell-it-all bestie, alongside my golden retriever, Cinnamon, will have to butter up the neighbors so they’ll spill the beans about who wanted the Mayor dead. But, between ...

Story
There’s no shortage of thrillers in my bookstore, but I never expected to stumble over a body in the suspense aisle—especially when the main suspect is me. What was supposed to be a quiet life running my cozy bookstore has turned into the scene of a chilling crime. The victim? An irritating author with a long list of enemies. Among them: an ex-brother-in-law drowning in debt, a scorned girlfriend desperate for revenge, and others with motives as twisted as a thriller plot. Determined to clear my name, I team up with Peanut, my loyal Labrador, and my sharp-tongued best friend. Together, ...

Story
The last thing I expected during Bramble Dale’s big debut cook-off was a dead food critic face-first in a plate of my best friends winning but fatal almond chicken. It was an and accident because she wouldn’t poison him on purpose. Really? Now I’m knee-deep in flour, lies, and a whole lot of bad alibis, trying to figure out who really wanted this foodie dead. Between his baking co-star girlfriend stealing the show and a rival food critic cutting into his review columns this harsh baking judge had more enemies than a guy could choke on. With my pet detective yellow Lab, Peanut, and my ...

Cinque Terre, a quant Italian harbour town, normally boasts of the aromas of garlic, basil, tomato sauce and crisp sea air, not the smell of murder. The pastel buildings and cobblestone streets are lined with Italian trattorias including my famous La Nonna’s Nonna, named after my grandmother. But when Pepperoni, my clue sniffing beagle, leads me to the dead body of the notorious food critic, Alistair, the normally bustling restaurant halts to a stand still.
