About this listen

To our Beloved Children: What do you know about historical books? To know the Judges' era in the Old Testament, we have to know the various historical stages from the standpoint of the salvation of mankind. 1. The creation stage: The book of Genesis talked to us about the creation to realize how God granted man authority and power to learn and explore until the modern man reached outer space. 2. The renewal stage: Since the creation was defiled, there was only one righteous family, which was Noah, his sons and their wives. God asked them to renew the world through the ark and the flood. 3. The patriarchs' stage: While the human race insisted on living in defilement, there were some righteous people, in the sight of God, like Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. God's people came from the children and the grandchildren of Jacob. (Israel). 4. In the land of slavery: The children of Jacob and their families went to Egypt. God's people lived there, and Pharaoh enslaved them. God sent them Moses to free them from slavery. 5. In the promised land: Joshua, the disciple of Moses, led the people to the land of Canaan, which is a symbol of heaven. 6. There was no king to rule the people in all the previous stages, but God was the One who plans for the righteous people. When Joshua died, the people were exposed to slavery because of their sins. So from time to time, God sent them judges to arrange the matters of some of the tribes or all of them. God remained to be the King, and the leaders were the judges. 7. The people insisted on having a king like the other nations, so they chose Saul, handsome and full of physical strength. However, God chose for them a righteous king, who was David the prophet and the King. Bible Study Bibles & Bible Study Christianity Judaism Meditations Old Testament King Royalty Moses Pharaoh
