Story
The book of Enoch was thought to be lost for over 2,000 years until, in 1773, a traveller brought three copies back from Ethiopia. Whether or not this ancient book was actually authored by Enoch, the father of Methuselah and great-grandfather of Noah, is an ongoing debate among historians and theologians. But all recognise the book of Enoch as one of the most important apocalyptic works outside of the Bible.

The Best Audio Version of The Books of Enoch
This has been on my wishlist for a long time. I’m so glad I moved it to the top. The narration was excellent. Everything was very clear and the conclusion and summary at the end of each chapter was very helpful. It was divided by Volumes, Books and Chapters which made the content more easy to digest and understand. If you’ve ever been curious about this text, I recommend this audio version.

Detailed, Esoteric, and Fascinating
The Books of Enoch is a fascinating Biblical ancient apocalyptic religious text. It is mythology mixed with spirituality. It is entirely told from the point of view of Enoch, who the Bible describes as “one who walked with God” and ascended to Heaven without dying.
It focuses on many details that are minimized in the Canonical Bible such as putting more emphasis on the story of the fallen angels. They were punished for lying with human women, breeding half-human giant children, and teaching them forbidden knowledge.
It also includes details about Noah's youth and relationships with his father Lamech, grandfather Methuselah, and great grandfather Enoch. His strange appearance such as eyes that lit up at night caused Lamech to question his paternity ( Methuselah told him that his features were signs of being divinely inspired and that he was biologically human and Lamech's son.)
Unlike the Canon Bible which puts the apocalyptic visions in the end of the Bible with the Book of Revelation, The Books of Enoch puts it right at the beginning. The placement of the Apocalypse in the first chapter of the first book shows how important these visions are to the text.
The Audible version is narrated by James Burke. His is a soothing calming voice that reads the Books with deep understanding, wisdom, and faith in the text.

Insightful!
Having never read the books of Enoch, I decided to give this a listen. The voiceover was soothing and eas to listen to. Each book gave some powerful storylines to creation, the cosmos and divine. Highly recommend to anyone looking to hear/learn the storyline in a different light.

Very inspirational
this book was quite an inspiring read. I like how the author goes into detail about fallen angels and quotes the bible. I also like how he describes everything that is in the book and applies it to multiple religions. I was very surprised with this book and I really enjoyed it. what an inspirational read.

Best Version So Far!
I would give this audiobook 10 stars if I could! I absolutely could not stop listening to The Books Of Enoch! It was very interesting (kept my interest anyway) very informative, and I learned a lot within the first few minutes of listening. I have listened to other versions of Enoch and those were also great also, but this version tells a lot more than the other versions and that is an absolute plus in my opinion. I definitely recommend this audiobook! The Books Of Enoch Complete Edition is a definite keeper.

well narrated
It's so true that if you read a book or see a movie again, you catch something you missed. The best thing was, you could relax and listen instead of having to read it. The narrator had a voice that was perfect for this type of book. Well done, I highly recommend you give it a listen.
