Someone is looking to wreck the nation's economy, and they're spending plenty to do it. With every lead going nowhere, Flynn's most dizzying logic is put to the test.

Traveling to a small town in Texas where everyone has left except for three people, Flynn begins to unravel a mystery that will take him from the Southwest to Vegas to the east coast and on to Russia. Meeting many characters along the way, Flynn attempts to solve a strange riddle involving large money sums and what “cash money” does to their livelihood. It is only when he is forced to listen to a lecture on the economy, that Flynn begins to realize what is really going on.

From start to finish, the short five hour listen from the Audible Plus Catalog is an entertaining and sometimes amusing study in human nature through the eyes of our Irish sleuth. Starting as the thorn in the side of Fletch in one of his novels, Flynn has come full circle. His stories are much more entertaining than McDonald’s primary character Fletch which I have put aside with little further interest. Donald Corren does an excellent job narrating and has the Flynn Irish brogue down pat. A fun listen.
