Publisher's summary

Trapped in the palace of Ebenos, Gabrielle Richer must pretend to be something she is not to survive: a submissive guest. The new role imposed on her by her captor forces her to break down her psychological barriers, become the partner of vicious demons, and allow herself to be bewitched by the creatures lurking in one of the palace's most feared chambers.

In the darkest moments of her captivity, the young woman has no choice but to be cunning and duplicitous to escape the winged demon's cruelty.

Decent story and narrator

There's parts of the story that don't quite make sense or seem more complicated than needed. But it's definitely an interesting world and narratored pretty well. Worth a listen.
