Storyline changed

I enjoyed the book but can't get with the storyline changing. In book 2, Breeze kills herself by hanging and in this book, she's alive.

It was all a dream!

Definitely want to read more. Getting to know Miamor’s character more has me routing for her survival and Carter’s love. I can’t wait to read more to see where this story goes. This book had me feeling all kinds of emotions and hopefully book three will redeem itself. There are still some secrets and skeletons that Mecca has that need to be revealed and I’m hoping the will be revealed soon.

I am so hooked

That I can see the characters thank you Cary Hite for making that possible with the voice change. I’m hoping Carter Jones moves on to find a love and family. Love it!!

Twists and Turns Per Usual

Just listen to it... Well after the prequels, then book 1 & 2. Whole story is an entertaining, sometimes confusing, and inconsistent, trip.

The narrater sucks

First hood dudes don’t talk like that! This is not the 70’s!!! I was waiting for the narrater to say “Jive Turkey”! Other than that I love the story!

It was Good

Not as good as book 2 but still good. The performance of course was amazing but I felt that it was a little on the predictable side and unrealistic. Everything was coincidental, so I wish the writers would have done a better job with that. But overall, the book did not disappoint.
