To Arabella, Star Lake Hall was a cold name for a house and it conjured up images of cool dark waters sprinkled with the reflections of ancient suns. The old rambling country house was filled by memories of the past that had become locked away inside as though frozen in time.
Newly married and now living at Star Lake Hall she soon becomes fascinated by old stories involving the disappearance of her husband’s late uncle Laurence. Warned to let old ghosts rest she nevertheless continues in her quest to find answers and by doing so it is not long before the old memories sealed within the house become interested in her.
