About this listen
Stella was excited to return home from college for a much needed Thanksgiving break and to start the Christmas holiday season with her family. It was her favorite time of year. But things changed dramatically when her mom woke her from a deep sleep to say they had to rush her dad to the hospital.
He was struggling to breathe. The diagnosis was a shock, but paled in comparison to the secrets unveiled on that fateful night.
Stella was a Christmas miracle when she was born at 11:59 pm on Christmas Eve, and now she needs another miracle to save her dad and unravel the mystery of the Christmas stars.
This heartwarming Christmas story of family, friendship, and discovery with a little bit of Christmas miracle sprinkled in, is just what you need to put you in the Christmas spirit.

Story
To Raine Holloway, the idea of time travel existed only in fiction—until her antique shop search leads her to Abingdon Manor, an abandoned property in the North Georgia foothills. When the old barn loft collapses beneath her feet, the fall reveals an antique watch that changes Raine’s life forever. Determined to discover the owner of a skeletal hand, Raine and her sisters refuse to accept the police chief’s lack of interest in the cold case. They continue to investigate, unaware the watch will assist them by spinning them through time to 1960.

Two little girls stand with their heads bowed in my living room. I’m told they’re my granddaughters. Daisy is nine, and Alice seven. Daisy is the spitting image of her mother. This is the first time I’ve met them since my daughter and I fell out after she married that waste of space, Vince. They’ve come to live with me because their mother — my daughter — was murdered. In her own home while they slept close by. I think Vince killed her. But the police can’t prove it. I’ve always known he was no good. He treated my daughter like dirt. I said he’d cheat on her — but she wouldn’t listen.

Lucas knows the perfect night entails just three things: video games, wine, and pad thai. Peanuts are a must! Other people? Not so much. Why complicate things when he’s happy alone? Then one day the apartment board, a vexing trio of authority, rings his doorbell. And Lucas’s solitude takes a startling hike. They demand to see his frying pan. Someone left one next to the recycling room overnight, and instead of removing the errant object, as Lucas suggests, they insist on finding the guilty party. But their plan backfires. Colossally.

Sweet feel good story
What a sweet loving story. I listened to the audio version of this book and the narrator was fantastic. She enveloped Stella. A story about the love between a parent and child no mater what. I don't want to give anything away but what developed in this sweet story was not expected. A scary thought that probably happens more than we think in hospitals. When Stella found out her father needed a kidney, what develops after is a must read. It read like a Hallmark movie and I loved every minute. I did feel sorry for the parents who were, I felt blindsided by the news. It was a short story that read quickly. I'm sure that's why it didn't get into all the feelings from all the characters. However, it's a feel good story with a true Christmas Miracle. I got a free copy of the audio version from StoryOrgin and this is my honest review.

Christmas Miracle
I loved this story! It was lighthearted and sweet, makes me think this would be a good Hallmark Christmas movie. Miracles do happen. Stella is home from college for Thanksgiving. A family emergency they discover her father needs a transplant, and she is not a match. She dives in and investigates, until uncovering she was switched at birth. The rest of the story is lovely, and you should definitely read it. I would love to read more of these characters lives. The narration was well done. A heartwarming tale
"The Christmas Stars" by Marcus Williams, narrated by the talented Aubrey Jones, is an absolute gem that captures the true essence of the holiday season. From the very first chapter, I was completely engrossed in the heartwarming story of Stella, who returns home for Thanksgiving only to face unexpected family challenges and uncover long-held secrets.
Marcus Williams' storytelling is both poignant and uplifting, weaving a narrative that is rich with emotion and holiday spirit. The plot is beautifully crafted, with each twist and turn adding depth to the characters and their journeys. Stella's quest for a Christmas miracle to save her father and unravel the mystery of the Christmas stars is both touching and inspiring.
Aubrey Jones' narration is nothing short of spectacular. Her voice brings each character to life with such authenticity and warmth, making the listening experience truly immersive. She perfectly captures the nuances of the characters' emotions, from the joy of holiday traditions to the heartache of family struggles.
This audiobook is a perfect companion for the holiday season. It reminds us of the importance of family, friendship, and hope. Whether you're looking for a story to get you into the Christmas spirit or simply want a heartwarming tale to enjoy, "The Christmas Stars" is a must-listen. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves a good holiday story with a touch of magic.

A Moving Seasonal Story About Family
This was my first experience with Marcus Williams' work, and I enjoyed it a lot. Stella returned home from college for Thanksgiving break, when a family emergency led to some surprising secrets. I liked the characters. I appreciated the small-town fellowship featured in the tale. I was entertained by the careful steps that were followed in order to uncover the truth of events. Aubrey Jones' narration was good, and her performance kept my attention. I was given a free copy of the audiobook, and I have voluntarily posted this review.

Genealogy
What a wonderful Christmas story! It is clean, uplifting, romantic, and I wanted to know what was going to happen next. The families here were what I would want to have as neighbors and friends, and the connections discovered make the ending perfect!

Christmas surprises.
Such a heartwarming story. A loving family. Celebrating the holidays. Coming home to family and friends from college. A medical emergency. Complications revealed. Figuring out who is who. I enjoyed this story so much. It could be a movie.
The narration really adds to the feels. Aubrey does an excellent job. 5 stars for her as well.
