About this listen
The Chronicles of Froissart is a history of the Hundred Years' War written in the 14th century by Jean Froissart. It opens with the early 1300’s and covers the period up to 1400, recounting events in Europe, mainly in England, France, Scotland, the Iberian Peninsula and the Low Countries. Froissart was an eye witness at events like the baptism of Richard II in 1367, the coronation of King Charles V of France in 1380 and the marriage of Duke John of Berry and Jeanne of Boulogne in 1389.

It was really short
It’s funny, I had to read this for school and when I got the physical copy of the Chronicles I was astounded how short it really was. I had imagined it to be this massive text but in reality it was just compact and very dense. Having it read to me was a much better option as I could just sit back and enjoy the Chronicles as a narrative. Overall great production and fun to have it read now. Thank you.
