Publisher's summary
Embark on a magical journey with Debra Moioffer's enchanting tale, "The Colorful Dragon." In this story, children and adults alike will discover a world where emotions come alive through the ever-changing colors of a mystical dragon's scales.
Each color tells a story, each hue a different emotion. From the golden joy that sparkles in the sunlight to the deep blue of reflective sadness under the starlit sky, this dragon teaches us to embrace our feelings. Witness the fiery red of anger and learn the power of calm, experience the eerie green of fear and find courage within, and bask in the tender pink of love that blooms like a rose.
Debra Moioffer invites listeners into a realm where emotions are not just felt but seen. Her unique storytelling, rich with emotional depth and vibrant imagery, makes "The Colorful Dragon" a timeless tale that resonates with all ages.
Perfect for bedtime listening or classroom storytelling, this book is not just a story, but a journey through the spectrum of human emotions. It's a reminder that just like the dragon's scales, our feelings are ever-changing, beautiful, and an integral part of the adventure of life.
Join us in the magical world created by Debra Moioffer, where every minute is a step into a kaleidoscope of emotions and a celebration of the colorful tapestry of our hearts.

Story
The kingdom of Cornucopia was once the happiest in the world. It had plenty of gold, a king with the finest moustache you could possibly imagine, and butchers, bakers, and cheesemongers whose exquisite foods made a person dance with delight when they ate them. Everything was perfect - except for the misty Marshlands to the north, which, according to legend, were home to the monstrous Ickabog. Anyone sensible knew that the Ickabog was just a myth to scare children into behaving. But the funny thing about myths is that sometimes they take on a life of their own.

Enjoyable Story
I enjoyed the story and narration. It would make a good bedtime story and it was interesting listening to the way the dragon expressed emotions. I could see myself listening to it multiple times.

Therapy in colors
Very glad they made an audiobook version of this short story. It's really, simply a long rhyming poem.
My grandchildren and I are going to put on the audio while we read the book. Then we'll talk about emotions.
The book really opens the door to acknowledging emotions in a healthy way. And hey, who doesn't like a colorful dragon?

A colorful dragon with colorful feelings!
I loved this book! The dragon is delightful, and helps teach children how to deal with their different feelings. I love having colors for different feelings, a good way to talk with little ones about how to deal with moods and feelings. This is a great read for adults, and children alike!

Emotions in Hue
This is an audiobook that captures the imagination and touches the heart in equal measure. It is an enchanting journey through a spectrum of emotions, made vivid and relatable through the metaphor of a mystical dragon's ever-changing scales.
Moreover, the audiobook serves as a gentle reminder that, much like the dragon's scales, our emotions are ever-changing. This perspective encourages listeners to accept the fluidity of their feelings, understanding that each emotion, whether joy, sadness, anger, fear, or love, contributes to the rich tapestry of human experience.

Beautiful
This is a beautiful piece of writing that inspires one to be in touch with a range of emotions. Through imagery, the author takes the listener through emotions, which is a great way for people to be in touch with something that is often elusive. Only when we recognize emotions can we understand them. Wonderful, so thank you.
