Think Community is Old Skool? Think again!
As a long-time online community manager in a large corporation, I'm always looking for new ways to keep the content fresh, ad increase member engagement. This book has some new and different ideas that I've never heard before! I think because the author has great experience and insights, he is able to break things down into practical steps to try. And of course, measurement so that community managers can know if their strategy is working. The section about branding I found particularly helpful, although whether the community drives the brand (as the title suggests), or the brand drives the community is an interesting battle. Let's just say that each builds on the other toward an even larger influence in a crowded market of social media. Highly recommend for those starting out in this space, or for online veterans.
