This title was a very enjoyable and insightful source of ancient wisdom, and for as a beginners guide to Hermeticism. For one who has studied its emergence within philosophical and theological history, and read about it before, it did the great service of instilling one with inspiration once again. Inspiration ebbs and flows in life and this book will certainly help souls regain an sense of urgency to keep their spiritual life flourishing.
I really enjoyed this book, so much appreciation to the author.

This explains the Hermetica in every single way. It's essentially a book that can help you have a broader understanding of the Hermetica in general but it shouldn't be taken alone. The actual Hermetica is far more spiritual: this is more of a book to assist in giving a greater understanding to those that need to comprehend the Hermetica better. There is a magical component to the Hermetica for example that this book shines some light on. It's informative but serves best as an auxiliary to the actual Hermetica. I would suggest the Hermetica by Tim Freke. It's an abridged version but does an exceptional job laying out the Hermetica in an easily understood manner.

Way too many descriptive words used like profound, tapestry, woven, and underscored. Listening to the monotonous repetitive chapters one after the other was very draining. This book has no quantitative value as a hermetic text. Nothing is specific and the constant barrage of useless “pretty” words and phrases is annoying.
Do not recommend this book. It won’t teach you anything other than vague cosmic debris word salad.
