About this listen

Ancient technology and suspended animation in the dying world.

Thunder boomed. The storm came up quickly, pushing the dead to the surface. The fish people rode it in. A raft for Vict to carry him into the mountains. He looked back on the house he shared with his mother for the last time. He was needed in the mountains.

I could not follow this story

I received this audiobook for free in exchange for an unbiased review. I do not recommend this story. It seemed to start after some type of calamity. Everyone is desperately poor. When the dead are washed out of their graves they come alive but apparently are not a big problem. There are big white worms. The story is written from the view of a teenage boy but I didn’t understand what was going on. I stopped listening partway through.
