Too slim

There isn’t enough here to get you going on your path of Critical Thinking. The author does a good job explaining some core concepts and provides helpful examples, but it’s just nowhere near enough. If you actually care about cultivating your Critical Thinking, pick up “Your Deceptive Mind”.

Details

As small as this book might be, it got into a lot of details about things we would’ve really thought of when given a subject like critical thinking. It gave a lot of different perspectives from different authors within the book not just from zoey herself.

Average Content - Poor performance

At the very start of listening to this book it's very apparent that the narrator has a blocked nose and it is rather distracting and makes it hard to focus on the content. Why would this kind of quality be made available commercially?

The content at the start is good and then in chapter 2, the author digress into the development of a child's brain which is not relevant at all, given that it is such a short book it takes away quite a large portion from the main point of critical thinking.

Disappointing

I felt this book was light on actionable insights, and that it lacked focus or direction.

Though I found the narration pleasant enough, the production value seemed low, with a lot of harsh, popping ‘p’ sounds, and more mispronunciations than I’m used to from Audible - including an ironic instance where the first name of ‘Jean Piaget’ is pronounced as in ‘blue jeans’, in a sentence including a quip about how this really is the way to pronounce ‘Piaget’.

There are better books if you want to learn about thinking more clearly - such as ‘The 5 Elements of Effective Thinking’ (by Burger & Starbird), or the Great Courses course called ‘Tools of Thinking: Understanding the World Through Experience and Reason’.

Critical Mind, maybe

Nothing new here, This might be informative for some of the younger crowd, say, early teens but not for someone who has been around for a while, Sorry it didn't come close to my expectation.
